PLAY SCHOOL

Sometimes, we just need a day. Bring your pup to ADGTK and rest assured that he's getting the best socialization available without practicing any problem behaviors.

PRESCHOOL

Great for new puppy parents who want a jumpstart on socialization and training. Let our team do the heavy lifting before we transfer the skills to you to continue.

PRIMARY SCHOOL

Ideal for busy puppy parents who don't have the time to exercise, socialize and train their new family member, but want all the benefits. We've got you.

What Our Clients Say

Becca H.

"Helpful, compassionate, and supportive staff. Thank you for walking us through the puppy struggles. Your advice and extra phone calls and e-mails went above and beyond! We went through a really tough time with our little guy’s behavior and are now seeing so many improvements."

Anna C.

"Two weeks in and I am amazed at how much my puppy and I have learned! I didn’t know it was possible to teach a puppy so quick to do so many things. You definitely start right away, and Veronica knows what she is doing! I have already recommended this place to many of my puppy friends."

Debbie S.

"The instructors are knowledgeable, professional, and offer hands-on help with training. The lessons are broken into manageable segments for puppies and puppy parents. The homework sheets are easy to follow and make it simple to practice what is learned in class. The facility is spotlessly clean."

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”

Questions? We're here to answer.

Why Puppy Day School?

Puppy Day School takes the stress out of setting your puppy up to be the best pup he can be, so you can truly enjoy your time together. Contrary to popular belief, the best time to start training and socializing your new family member is right at eight weeks - when their brains are like sponges and we can make lasting impressions.

And how do we make lasting impressions? Impressions that result in a dog that fits into your lifestyle? We take their early weeks - when our puppy's brains are like sponges - very seriously.

For the first 16 weeks of your puppy's life, his brain is like a sponge. We take those weeks seriously.

We set up the environment to minimize the chances for them to develop bad habits.

We make sure they have TONS of good experiences with anything we expect them to be exposed to throughout their lives - other dogs, kids, men with beards, fireworks, vacuum cleaners, etc.

We practice husbandry behaviors that reduce stress during vet visits and grooming procedures.

We teach that confinement and time away from us is actually a good thing.

We teach them that it pays to behave in ways that don't drive us crazy.

And so much more! Ideally, all during the first sixteen weeks of their lives.

Does that sound overwhelming? Don't worry. We've got you.

During the critical socialization period (3-16 weeks old), it is imperative that we expose our puppies to all the things that we expect them to be okay with as an adult dog. It is also important that we prevent them from practicing the wrong the behaviors as much as possible.

During this stage, they are constantly questioning everything in their environment. Is this safe? Scary? I wonder if I could break out of this crate. Think I could put my paws on the counter and steal that loaf of bread?

Enrolling your puppy in Puppy Day school gives us the opportunity to answer those questions for them - before they can guess wrong.
